Debate practice in Nevada WASHINGTON (CNN) –President Obama is spending the next two days in Nevada gearing up for his first presidential debate of the 2012 campaign. A senior campaign official tells CNN the president spent “some time” practicing Sunday night and then “reconvened” his sessions this morning. The official said Mr. Obama will likely take a break today and make a local stop, but gave no details on when or where he would be going. The debate prep team is made up of senior campaign advisers and current or former senior White House advisers, including David Axelrod, David Plouffe, Gene Sperling, Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, and Brian Deese. |

Why does he need to stay out here and restrict our air space for 30 mile radius? Traffic not any better either. All Presidents need security but why can't he practice at home?
One specific problem was for the Grand Canyon Helicopters. We have great weather now but they have all been grounded. Lots of refunds, lost business. One company is busing the people to another airport just to not take losses.........
Vegas is just too small to accommodate a President visit to our airport without massive traffic. Why can't he fly to our very nearby Nellis Air force Base? Then our tourism based airport wouldn't shut down for days at a time.
So George Bush and Dick Cheney were tying up traffic in 2004. Did you expect them to stay home?

Obamacare, Stimulus, Bailout Of GM, Recapitalized banks, Student Loan Program – cost and is costing this country billions and billions and billions of dollars and the jury is still out on all of them. Government takeover of business never ends as planned and neither does massive government regulations and rules. Student loans are out of control both in relation to the cost of this massive government program and the debt student owe. Obamacare? billions and billions of taxes are about to hit us. GM should have gone chapter 11, similar to the airlines.
Bottom line Jean. You like big BIG government and you want big BIG government to take care of you and everyone else.
One more then I will stop (unless you want me to address every single point). Lilly Ledbetter – the basis for one of Obama's biggest lies. Do you really think women make .70 on the dollar as compared to a man? I don't. The big lie stems from them using census data.
For example – say you and I do the same work for the same hourly rate. Then say I worked 15% more OT than you. That gives me about 30% more reporting income than you. Therefore, using census data, even though we make the same money, the census data used shows I make more actual money. I provided one simple example, but many things come into play when you only consider bottom line pay. For examples – leaves of absence, part-time hours vs full time, etc.
THE LAW IS NOT ABOUT WHETHER THERE IS UNEQUAL PAY OR NOT, IT IS ABOUT PREVENTING IT. JUST LIKE THOSE VOTER ID LAWS YOU LOVE SO MUCH.

funny thing is Nevada is a mess, one of the highest jobless rates in the country...obama is there practicing and from what my Vegas friends say they are sick of this...he has air travel and car travel really curtailed all the way to the Grand Canyon...the cost of this little dog and pony show is costing millions and really enraging the voters down there...what a dope!

Even CNN said Romney won! Yet NO story? There are two more debates to go. Th e president is NOT going to make tha mistake of being unprepared again. I was watching the taling heads last night after the debate flipping between Fox and CNN. Of course the right thought Romney won and the Left thought Obama won. Carviille said it looked like Obama was prepared for a conversation at a town hall meeting. Even Bill Maher spouted how he thought the prez needed a teleprompter.
The reason I point these two out is while everybody else (pretty much) was toeing the party line, these two didn't (I am NO fan of Maher but do respect Carville). Romeny won last night but again, I do expect a different performance by the president next time! WHERE IS THE STORY, CNN?. YOUIR OWN FOLKS SAID ROMNEY WON! COME ON!!
