Hey maybe romney can have another one of his phoney relief rallys. Wonder how much stuff he will have to buy. This guy is a sleeze people. Forward. How much stuff does he have to do before you see what a slime mittens is?????

Heeey Joe, where you going with that gun in your hand?

      November 1, 2012 at 11:31 am |
    • Steveo

Besides your bias, what makes you think Romney's relief rallies are phony? Sandy wasn't phony, hurting people are not phony, and the need is not phony. Real people died, real people lost homes and real people are in need!! your post is ridiculous and that too is REAL!

      November 1, 2012 at 8:57 pm |
      • Francisco

He didn't say that Sandy was phony. He didn't say the disaster was funny. He didn't say the people suffering and the dead was phony. What he said was that Romney is a phony. And It's true. He held a relief in Ohio, so the food can TRAVEL to the hurt people? really? Wouldn't have been much easier to give out right there at NJ or NY where the food would give access to those in a much quicker pace?
Doing something to help is one thing, and in the end of the day he did help, because people DID get his food. I understand that, but at the same time there is in NO WAY you are not going to tell me that he did that for his political reasons as well. Theres just NO WAY you can tell me that otherwise without lying.

He should have had his people and himself working in all of the shelters where the people were going and deliver the food right then and there. Doing it in OHIO, the state he needs to win, he ain't fooling me and he ain't fooling joe either.

Let me ask you something, Even though he DID help people, and I know he did don't get me wrong, but do you really think it is right use this disastrous storm to get political points? And another question, don't you think he could have helped in a much better and essential way? This is obvious.. Don't lie to yourself. I'm glad that people got his food, but I am not glad that he used it to try to sway voters. This is sick, disgusting, and the I'm not the only one that noticed this, people in Ohio did as well. And just because he tried to use this storm to sway voters, karma will hit him in the butt and Obama will win by a landslide.

Recession? Slow economy? Trillion dollar budget deficit?? Gynormous national debt!??
No., these are not important issues to our journalistic lap poodles and the most traveled administration.., EVER!

      Not accurate.
George W. Bush took 49 international trips and visited 140 countries (some more than once for a total of 75 nations). George W. Bush travel by the numbers:
149 trips- 487 days at Camp David
77 trips-490 days at Crawford Ranch
11 trips -43 days at Kennebunkport
Out of town domestic trips 609
98 sporting events attended including Beijing Olympics.
number o flights on Air Force One 1,164
number of miles on Air Force One 1,490,698
number of rounds of golf 24
Source George W. Bush by the Numbers

At this point, President Obama has taken 24 international trips and visited 47 countries (some more than once).
This is not a complaint, because this is what each administration is hired to do.

a..hummm look like Barry-in-chief took twice as many trips in his 31/2 years than Bush did in 8 years. And, look at the foreign affairs mess we now have. I can't imigine what he would do in four more years...staggering!

        November 1, 2012 at 3:42 pm |
      • Steveo

All of that would make sense if Bush was running. After four years of Obama, it goes back to Bush? I thought the chant was "FORWARD"???

Netanyahu and Romney are as they say “Birds of a Feather”. I think that it is good that Mitt has made a connection endorsing the “RED LINE” idea of Netanyahu's. They both seek to be glorified and recognized for cunning strategy regardless that it means nothing as Romney is just a lesser candidate. Fortunately for us our military strategist and foreign policy advisers have another plan that doesn’t involve self aggrandizing by a few attention seekers.

The Obama lies and cover ups, resulting in the murders of hundreds of innocent people ... in the Fort Hood shooting ... Fast and Furious ... and the Benghazi tragedy ... are a travesty !!!

In 2008, it was a noble decision to elect America's first black President ... unfortunately, the wrong black person was chosen for such an honor, and such a responsibility. Obama has squandered this historic opportunity, and betrayed all those who elected him ... with irresponsible spending ... failed policies ... division ... cronyism ... as well as lies and cover ups, in order to hold onto power. What a shame. To reelect Obama simply because he's America's first black President ... would surely be an act of racism. America is more important than Obama ... Obama is expendable and replaceable ... America is not. Save America ... replace Obama, and his corrupt administration on November 6th !!!

Jean, I am convinced. I will not vote for George Bush next Tuesday.

What is Romney offering thats better than Obama? I would vote for Bush before voting for Romney.

Why vote for someone thats going to change everything if what Obama doing is working? Economy is turning around, we are gaining more than 100,000 jobs for over 20 steady months instead of losing 800,000. Stock market is doubled... People only talk about the deficit, thats the only thing. Because the rest Obama has brought it up, and its been steady, not inconsistent. I say do not try to fix what is not broken. With more democrats in office, this will go even faster now. Vote for Obama, or otherwise you ARE voting for a Bush look alike or even worse.

Whew, after that temporary few days of work now Obama gets to do what he really loves, campaign. The lies will be coming a mile a minute from now until election day. Look for Biden to continue to forget what state he is in, who the audience is and what day it is.

Certainly it’s evident to everyone that any suggestion to improve a constipated bureaucracy by President Obama is unacceptable to Republicans. Yet it’s time to sit down on elected thrones with a winced face of determination and get past this obstruction and flush it where it belongs. Vote a straight Democratic ticket let’s get things moving again!

    November 1, 2012 at 1:36 pm |
    • John

Isn't this what we had for the first two years of Obama? Did you forget that? Obama says "Forward", but all he has are his old, failed plans.. It is time for Obama to go.

      November 2, 2012 at 8:45 am |
      • McShannon

Senators and Congressmen will win on straight ticket voting by Democrats. I never voted a straight ticket until this year when I realized the terrible animosity of the Republican Party and the fact that they would vote only a straight ticket themselves. We must win the presidential election and the rest will fall into place. President Obama supports FEMA in all its capacity and Sandy in that respect put the wind to our backs. Like the cable guy says “Let’s git er done”

        November 2, 2012 at 10:44 am |
      • glenda

I agree – time for Obama to go – right out the door. Let him join the other citizens and pay his share of taxes.

      • jerry

"obama supports FEMA"...that's correct and it is a mess....watch the news and blogs coming out of that mess..of course obama supports a bloated mess like FEMA he is a Marxist.

obama: "I'll create a Jobs Czar"....Romney: "I'll be President who gets business". The difference is obama will grow another bureaucray...Romney will get the private sector jobs creators behind him....anti-business heavy handed federal govt or the AMERICAN WAY! And folks, obama's way don't work...never has and never will!

    November 1, 2012 at 3:39 pm |

Romney? The Great White Hope of the world as he calls himself!!!!! BAHAHAHAHA Yeah, his record in Ma was so outstanding...Not!!! I'm sorry but he has to many faces and personalities to count. Romney is like a box of chocolates...you never know which one you are going to get!

OK – all you people who ae Obama supporters. Stop and think what he has done to America. You may think it is good but if you look at the whole picture he is nothing but a Socialist. Get your head out of your ass -will you. He spews nothing but hate.

Reports now comming in about the mess obama created by visiting (campaigning) in NY and New Jersy...had the airports and traffic messed up for hours... another example of his presidency...you should see what happens in Hawaii when he vacations there...the Bushes and Regans went their ranch....and let the people be. The Hawaiians are sick of it. We don't keed a king...we need a real American loving President!

Is this from the same bogus article that Romney cited stating that Jeep is moving jobs from the US to China? I get it, you don't like Obama, please cite somthing that actually matters other than "people needed to wait" for air force one to land which happens when ANY sitting president lands in Air Force One...yawn.

      November 1, 2012 at 6:03 pm |
      • jerry

huh? you must be kidding. Since you mentioned it, Romney told the truth about the Jeep thing...but, you will have to wade through pages of left wing distortions if you google this. There are sooo many leftist web sites used to take these things, distort them and then repeat it until the real uninformed believe them. And, people like you buy it lock stock and barrel. Have you ever wondered that since you trust these people (like obama, the liar) why it is they have to lie to you, and how this will ever bring good results for us? NO? I didn't think so...please do try to learn to think for yourself.

I am an ardent Obama supporter, but why is he back to campaigning? I live in New York and we lost more lives than any other state, yet, the President has not visited us, why? It is disturbing to see images of places that are in total ruin and not see the National Guard or U.S. Army in full force within these areas. Why isn't there a full-fledged movement of troops to these areas? I fear that seeing images of the president on the campaign trail will subject him to critics that will say he is insensitive. This catastrophic event gives him the opportunity to demonstrate exactly what he has been saying all along that he "will fight" for every American, every day. We are aware that our president was dealt a poor hand, and that he has done a tremendous job of turning things around. We understand that he is for the improvement of education, and that he truly cares about seniors, and the medical care available to all. We are proud that he has made it clear to our enemies that if they attack us, they will not go unpunished. We are grateful that he is ending our involvement in wars and that bring back manufacturing to our country is his focus. Nevertheless, why is he campaigning? Americans are not stupid. Let Romney run his campaign of lies and untruths ... Our president needs to get back to fighting for those in need (Hurricane Sandy victims). This event gives our president an opportunity to show all Americans what really matters, because a catastrophe could occur anywhere, at anytime. This catastrophe allows the president to distinguish once and for all, who he truly is, and what he believes is most important, the stump speech or the people. The most powerful statement anyone could ever make is practicing what was preached. Please... Mr. President... return to the front line and help the people... The election will take care of itself... If you do, it won't even be close; you will win by a LANDSLIDE...

I think I know why Romney will lose...

I think Romney will lose because Obama will win... At lease thats how I was told it works..... I'm not so sure if that makes sense... But I do that every time a Presidential candidate loses on election day, it's because the other candidate won... That has been a very consistent pattern for a long time now...

I just need to research more and find out the reason why,,,.. B.O/J.B 2012

    November 2, 2012 at 1:02 am |
    • JackRipper

I just did some research and I found out that the candidate does not lose on election day because the other candidate won...

Actually, The candidate WINS on election day because the other candidate lost..... At least thats what I got with my research.. I'm going to send an e-mail to Romney when he loses, and then he can explain from experience if he lost because Obama won, or was it because Obama won that he lost...

Let's hope we get this answer soon, it could be a huge scientific breakthrough

read Woodward's book...and you will clearly see it is obama who is the obstuctionalist..won't even work with his own party. We don't have a king...we need a president.

Jerry, are you a jokerster. Romney is a big liar, has been married before and will do or say anything to get in the White House. I suppose you are either blind about the situation or just bias.

        November 3, 2012 at 9:58 pm |
    • jo

Why, do you think a majority will matter?? He had one for two years and did NOTHING with it. Obamas honey moon is over, he doesnt want to govern he just wants to be popular and party with hollywood elites. I say send him out of our whitehouse and let him party on his own dime.

Who earnestly speaks for the plight of the poor, the homeless, the sick and hungry? President Obama stands out not Mitt Romney. Define who a Christian should be the characteristics of caring for others and realize that a president of the USA represents all races, faiths and lifestyles. He is correct in not wanting to impose every Christian ruling according to the conservative interpretation of the bible because he represents all Americans and yet in his own walk can and does represent an image to be emulated. We see the charlatan in Mitt Romney as he is none of the above.

    November 2, 2012 at 10:36 am |
    • jerry

NO, you are wrong. Help for these people depend on a strong America with good jobs...and obama's platform for the next four years is...1-hire more teachers (our birth rate is lowest in decades) 2-obama-care and then a single payer program(healthcare rationing. 3-green energy (billions and billions lost on this farce)....AND NONE OF THESE WILL CREATE JOBS IN AMERICA...quite the opposite(as already proven). So vote for him again...and you deserve the consequences...the poor don't, because most of them are too ignorant and dependent to know better.

      November 3, 2012 at 5:17 pm |
      • glenda

Where has Obama help the plight of the poor. The only jobs available are minimum wage. Do you really think these "jobs" he has created will really help support a family. One would be lucky if it would support a person of one. I really do not understand why these people who support Obama do not think things through. Keep on drinking the cool-aid.

Thank you Chrysler management! Thank you GM management! Mitt Romney has engaged in the most outrageous, lack of integrity and desperate attempt to distort the truth probably ever in any Presidential campaign. The Romney camp “has no shame” and is flailing with wild jabs unbecoming of honorable men.

    November 2, 2012 at 10:41 am |
