Obama's day ahead: Meeting with Rice Another day closer to the fiscal cliff deadline and another day of President Obama staying out of view. The president will be behind closed doors all Friday, save for a quick bill signing in the Oval Office that will normalize trade relations with Russia and Moldova. The president is also schedule to meet with UN Ambassador Susan Rice, the day after she formally withdrew her name from consideration for Secretary of State. Unfortunately, that meeting is closed to cameras.

The meeting will go something like this -Obama -" hugs & kisses Susan. Sorry I screwed you on the Benghazi deal, but better you than me". "but don't worry, I promised I'd take care of you and I will, & don't worry about all that stuff with Unions, gays, hispanics, detroit...I really will keep this promise to you". Bye bye

And Pres. Obama should enjoy this "time between" his first and second term. Saying farewell to the old and hello to the new. His approval rating is at an all time high and things are looking good. The Republican Congress gave him a "gimme" on the Fiscal Cliff argument, he cannot lose, either way it goes. However, when and if the country goes over the "financial cliff", I believe the beginning of the end for this President's popularity will commence. Higher taxes, diminished (greatly diminished National Defense), and beginnings of a long and deep financial recession and higher unemployment than that of 2008/2009 seem inevitable. For a man whom "didn't know", and now "doesn't care" about anything, save the "transformation" of this country into a European styled Socialist State, I suggest all the folks at home hang on for dear life, because we are all in for one heck of a ride.
seems like rice and holder have both come under more than their fair share of fire from the repos. This seems to be the tactic they have decided to run with. Can't get the big guy lets go after all the little ones. Mc Caines career will end on a bad note leaving a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. December, Talking about 2014. No duh Gov. Patrick wouldn't pick Brown. But if Brown runs, he may be able to defeat a challenger, but probably could not defeat Kerry.
